To all of my new friends at at Still Waters in a Storm…
I am, and shall remain, in a glow since my visit to Still Waters in a Storm on April 18, 2015.
I don’t remember a time in my life when I encountered such focus, musicality, and eagerness to learn, within a group of children. I was incredibly moved and inspired, as a composer, and am thrilled to embark on future musical projects with the children, to which I immensely look forward, (and which are already beginning)! Truly, Still Waters in a Storm embodies its name, as it brings a place of tranquility and joy, not just to the children, and their gifted teachers in residence, but to everyone, like me, who is granted the blessing to visit…
I thank God for such a haven, as Still Waters in a Storm, and pray that the world will gifted with other such shelters, as it so desperately needs them.
